no more ritalin?

the doctor that i seen today said she would decrease my ritalin by taking only 1 tablet for a week and then i'm not supposed to take any at all. i think that ritalin can contribute to seizures- i think the doctor that i see as my main doctor said that. like i said before, i'm not hyperactive and the pca that came with me to my appointment said that i was the only client in our housing/living program that is on ritalin and my doctor claimed that ritalin should be given to all people that have traumatic brain injuries because it supposedly stimulates the brain in all people with traumatic brain injuries. however, what's so funny about that- all the people in this housing/living program have brain injuries also, yet i'm the only one on ritalin. she put me on a different drug to replace ritalin, we'll see if i get any of the side effects, i hope not. i don't know when this is all supposed to start though, hopefully soon.
